Editing labels
In most cases, the text values of labels can be directly edited on the map. The exceptions are:
- It is not possible to edit the names of map features used in the built-in templates.
- It is not possible to edit the values of computed variables.
To edit other types of labels:
- In the Map Layers window, select the map layer whose labels you wish to edit
- Choose the "Edit Text" tool by clicking the "Edit Text" button in the toolbar
- Click a label, type a new value, and press Enter
Note that when editing a data variable, you must enter a numeric value.
